Inga Broerman Joins GuideStar as Vice President, Marketing

Washington, D.C., and Williamsburg, Va.—GuideStar, the leading source of nonprofit information, has appointed Inga Broerman as head of its marketing and communications activities.

"Inga has extensive experience with traditional and new marketing channels," stated Bob Ottenhoff, GuideStar's president and CEO. "Her skills in developing integrated marketing campaigns across all media and delivering impressive results make her the ideal person to guide GuideStar's marketing and communications efforts to the next level."

Ms. Broerman is responsible for formulating long-range strategic plans, goals, and objectives for all of GuideStar's marketing activities; providing leadership in developing and driving execution of all branding, product, social-marketing, communications, and service positioning; and managing GuideStar's marketing and communications teams. Before joining GuideStar, Ms. Broerman led acquisition marketing at Vocus, the leading provider of on-demand software for public relations management. Before joining Vocus, she was responsible for global interactive marketing at Siemens Healthcare. Her work has won several awards, and she was a keynote sprint speaker at the 2010 WebTrends user conference.
