Presenters: José Fernández is the director of the GuideStar Exchange, GuideStar's program that encourages nonprofits to share up-to-date information about their missions, programs, leadership teams, and social impact. Before joining GuideStar, José was a program manager at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, where he assisted in the development of two niche social networks and managed the development of the grants database GrantsNet.
Jordan Faires leads the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation grants management team. Under his leadership, the grants management team coordinates and streamlines the process of making and monitoring grants, improves budgeting, enriches analysis, and expands the Foundation's use of grants management software and other relevant technology. Jordan has vast nonprofit and grants management experience, including in grants management software and data reconciliation.
Dolores Estrada is the manager of grants administration at The California Endowment. As manager Ms. Estrada oversees the administrative functions and policies of grant process and provides guidance on issues of document management and legal compliance review. Ms. Estrada began her career in philanthropy in 1999. While at The Endowment she has held several different positions starting with program assistant, senior program assistant, grants administration program administrator, and finally manager.
